The class had a lasting impact on me. It was nice to know that there was no pressure to talk, and when I did share, it was comforting to know that I was with others who could relate.
When I lost my wife of 46 years to cancer, I felt like I had been run over by a cement truck. I needed help to get back on my feet and go on with life. I found an organization called Grief Share and I was helped by the program and people who were also going through grief.
This was a safe environment to heal from my grief.
It was so helpful meeting others who are going through the same things that I am experiencing.
I started out the class thinking that I didn’t need it. Boy, was I wrong! I learned so much about grief, about myself, and about the Lord’s love for me even when I feel like I am at my worst.
