This is what echoes in my head as I seek to get both my physical heart with its electrical issues and my emotional heart with its skeptical issues back in line.
“If you learn to trust Me—really trust Me—with your whole being, then nothing can separate you from My Peace. Everything you endure can be put to good use by allowing it to train you in trusting me. This is how you foil the works of evil, growing in grace through the adversity that was meant to harm you.” Sarah Young, Dear Jesus.
It figures this would come from Sarah Young. That lady knows how to cut to the heart of the matter. When I read her based-on-Scripture devotionals, I hear the Lord speaking directly to me. I read this one several weeks ago, but I haven’t been able to continue with the book. I just keep reading and rereading this paragraph. It is the desire of my damaged little heart.
I love how God leads us to just what we need when we need it.
