Here is a recent quote from the Cannes Film Festival, by Woody Allen. After hearing this, I am much more likely to form my philosophy by listening to Toy Story’s, Woody than Woody Allen. At least Woody and Buzz Light-Year were can-do thinkers who had hope. There is hope in the world, and it doesn’t just come from fictitious Pixar characters! But there is a pervasive attitude in culture, often found in media-types, that we come from nothing and are going nowhere. Artsy-types may see this as creative and real.
