Take a moment to reflect this time of year. With all of the parties, and planning, shopping and wrapping, looking and cooking, and going and doing, take a moment and focus on the peace Jesus brings. In fact, take some time every chance you get so that the real meaning of the season doesn’t pass you by.
Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
When you are up to your eyeballs in celebrations, take a moment think of the dedication of the God in the flesh coming to earth as a baby—as a human so that he could comfort us in our humanity.
As you fret about the perfect presents think of the peace in His Presence.
If this year your Life with a loved one was cut short, think of life eternal you’ll have together with Jesus.
